I had my first hand controls fitted and paid for them myself.
Most motability main dealers have local hand control specialist that they deal with. I would obtain one or more of these specialists number and get them to give you quotes.
If you can't afford to have the work done there may be charities that you could apply for a grant from (atleast that is what my uncle (John Reeves from Aylesbury) did, when he was alive, bless his soul).
